BYE BYE ESO

This year we have reunited with friends of other courses in the ESO.
It has not been as stressful as the past; we had many jobs, homeworks and exams that accumulated and were not distributed well.
This year we also accumulated things but we did not have much to do like the last.

I prefer english this year because the last we have to do a lot of time the grammar book, activities and works;and this we have the blog and less grammar.
I prefer do a oral presentation or kahoot than grammar. I think playing kahoot we learn more because we have a good time and it's more interesting and atractive visually.
Doing the blog i learn new things with writting and reading comprehension because we have to search things in other pages and in those pages they use another vocabulay, an extensive vocabulari.

Every year we normally change the class groups and te last it was very good with the classmaters because was the second year together. At the beginning of the year i don't like the change of class because last year i was very good with my group but as the first few days passed i join more with ex-classmates and to this day I'm very good with the class.

I hope pass this year because i have to do a couple exams more and if i don't pass i don't have the chance for go to a bach.
History is the worst subject; it's dificult and we have a lot of themes to study in only one exam, i prefer the other teacher's class because they told me that it's better and less dificult.

This summer i plain to stay here and not to go to england like the past because now i have 16 and i want stay here for have a job and stay with friends and family for have a good time.

Summer

This end of course is not very good.
Everyone is very stressed and worried about the notes because being our last year of institute our future depends on this.

I am very worried about the subject of history, I try to study the maximum and be attentive in class but with the exams I do not do very well.

I hope to be able to approve it in June because otherwise I will not have a place in the "bachillerato" that I want to do.

If all that goes well I would have a summer to enjoy with my friends because we all separated the next course.
I would also have time to work because I just turned 16 and I would like to see what reality is and learn about the work and experience you acquire.

I really want to be able to leave the highschool aside and enjoy the heat, the beach, parties and my friends and family because that is when we all have free time.

They say the 16 are the best to enjoy summer and free time, I hope to do so.

This love song talks about an unrequited love.

It is about a men who seeks a stable partner and goes to a party where he mets a women younger than him and falls in love.   They spend all night together. He tells her how he feels and wants to spend the rest of his days with her but she does not feel the same.  

End of year dance festival

I am in a dance school in Figueres called Danceme and every end of the year there is a festival in the Teatre Jardí in Figueres.

This year the festival was set in stories and classic cartoons; Brave, The Mad Hatter, Princesses, Elves ...
My group was from Little Red Riding Hood.

We have done it Friday 2, Saturday 3 and Sunday 4th of June.
Each day we had to spend most of the afternoon there to dress, make-up, comb and put everything in order.

Once we finished acting we could not leave until the whole festival was over, so we left very late and very tired.
The last day was my birthday and those in my group brought me a chocolate muffin with a candle and they sang me happy birthday; And then at night we all went out to dinner.

Being three days in a row and so long we were all very tired, but I think it's worth it because if we're there it's because we like dancing.

It is a festival that lasts about three hours because we are between 400 and 500 students.

This is my first year at this school and I liked it a lot, next year I plan to stay in this one. 

 

Unesco Cultural Heritage

Rio de Janeiro: Carioca Landscapes between the Mountain and the Sea

I would like to visit many places around the world, and Rio de Janeiro, Carioca, is one of them.

I chose this site because on the map I saw the photos and I really liked it.
Last year I did the "Treball de Síntesi" work about Puerto Rico and found it interesting and I think Rio de Janeiro can be interesting to.

It's a place where there are many tourists, I found it interesting and it was when I decided to go look on the internet why people like it so much.
I like the fact that I have sea and mountain together.
It's a different place; You can go to the beach or go for a walk in the mountains and that is one of the things that I like.

At night with all the lights is a very nice and perfect place to go for a walk.

It is located in America, in the northeast of the Caribbean, in the east of the Dominican Republic.

I wish I could go there someday.

Italy

This end of the year we went with the high school to Italy.
I had been there before with my family when I was little and I liked to go now with my friends and teachers.

We have had a great time, we have visited many places around Italy and we have learned many new things.
In the trip we have slept in a hostel, a hotel, and finally in a ferry.
From the whole trip I could say that being on the boat has been one of the things that I have liked the most.

I also liked the hotel very much.
I love the "Fontana Di Trevi" and the hotel was right next door. Also we could see how they cleaned the coins of the source and that was something curious.

There have been many good things and one of them has been that among classmates we have been able to know each other better and talk and relate more than in highschool.

Being out of highschool was better with the teachers also as we shared day by day but without studying or things like that.

It was one of my best trips because I could share it with my best friends.

In this photo I am with my boyfriend and we are on the boat about 6-7 in the morning waiting to see how the sun came out.
At that moment we were two and friends; Cheryl and marcel who did the photo.

That night there was a party on the boat that ended at 3 and we did not sleep all night.
We were playing cards and talking to other classmates.

It has cost me a lot to choose a single favorite photo, but it is one of my favorite photos because it reminds me of everything that happened on the boat and was very good.

My favourite actor

My favourite actor is Leonardo Dicaprio.
Leonardo Dicaprio was born in Los Angeles on November 11, 1974.
Is an American film actor and producer, and has recieved numerous awards.

He has starred in many films and the genres of these are;

-Drama
-Romance
-Crime
-Suspense

-Biography
-Documentary film

As you can see are many genres of films, and the most commonly interpreted in his films is Drama.

The first movie i saw of Dicaprio was Titanic.
I was thaught by one of my best friends Mónica a couple of years ago and since then i have wached more films of him and i liked a lot.

Dicaprio is my favourite actor because i think he interprets very good all the diferent papers.

Sebastiao Salgado

This photography is from Sebastiao Salgado, i have chosen this photo because it's my favourite of him.

In this picture you can see the mountains on the back an on the right side with a little fog between then and a river that crosses the landscape in the middle from the most distant part to the nearest.

We can also observe the sky with clouds and a ray of sun.

This pic for me represents calm and freedom.

I think it's an amazing photography.

2-Is the first time that you are in Spain? Yes, is the first time.

3-How did you come here? By plane, ship or train? I came here by plane.

4-Why are you in Girona? I'm here to visit.

5-How long are you going to stay here? I'll be here a couple of days.

6-Are you traveling with family or friends? Yes, i'm traveling with some friends.

7-What have you visited up to now? I have visited some museums.
8-What do you like the most? What i like the most is the people here, they are very sociable.
9-Have you bought any presents? Yes, i bought some things for my family.
10-Do you know any word in Catalan or Spanish? Yes, the basics; Hola como estás.

11-Have you tried any typical Spanish or Catalan food? Yes, i've tried the paella.
12-Do you think Girona/Catalonia is expensive? No, i don't think so.
13-Do you see any diferences from your country? No, not much.
14-Do you know anyone who lives in Girona? No, i do not know anyone here.
15-Is there anything you don't like? Nothing for the moment.
16-Have you watched Game of Thrones? Did you know some settings from season 6 were shot here? No, i haven't looked.

Surfing for everybody 

Around 40 Australian children with disabilities can enjoy lessons once a month, thanks to volunteers from the Gold Coast Disabled Surfers Association.

The mother of a four-year-old child who was born with cerebral palsy was happy to see her son have a grat time. She said that she had never seen him so happy apart from the time when he went horse riding.

One of the volunteers said that many of the children do not get a chance to come to the beach, so sometimes this is the first time that they have ever been in the ocean.

Difficult words: Cerebral palsy; a disability in muscle coordination caused by damage to the brain before or a birth.

Carnival

Carnival is one of my favourite celebrations of the year.

Its a celebration where we left all the friends in disguise and we have a good time.

Same as last year first we go to the carnival of roses and the week following the one of Castelló d'Empúries.

Every day of carnival in the morning is made a pass with all the floats, they also do dances and meals, and at night the night pass is made and then the discomovil.

Last year with our group of friends we disguised as Mario & Luigi and this year the same friends and more people we dress in Baseball.

Carnival is my favourite celebration because you go out with your friends, you have a very good time and they put good music at full volume. 

Is a celebration that everyone does and is good to relax a few days of studies and have fun.

My favourite love movie

My favourite love movie is Titanic.
This is a story about Jack (DiCaprio), a young artist, in a card game wins a ticket to America, on the Titanic, the largest and safest transatlantic ever built. On board, he meets Rose (Kate Winslet), a young woman from a good family coming unless she is going to enter into a marriage of convenience with Cal (Billy Zane), a cocky millionaire who only cares about her fiancee's prestigious surname. Jack and Rose fall in love, but Cal and Rose's mother put all kinds of obstacles in their relationship. Unexpectedly, a huge iceberg threatens the lives of passengers.

 He use young people and the character of terror.

3- What technique did he use with the camera?
 He uses the black and white technique with the camera, and the suspense.

My Favorite Dessert

CHOCOLATE COULANT

My favorite dessert is the coulant of chocolate and for that I will explain how it's done.

Is it a very easy recipe to make.

The preparation time is about 10 minutes and cooking time it's another 10 minutes.

This recipie is for 4 to 8 people.

Ingredients:

- 100g Heavy Chocolate Nestlé Desserts

- 8 ounces intense Chocolate Nestlé Desserts (for coulant interior)

- 3 Eggs

- 80g of sugar

- 50g butter

- 1 tablespoon flour

Elaboration:

1- Preheat oven to 260 ° C.

2- Heat 100g of chocolate in the microwave with two tablespoons of water and butter for 1min 30s to 500W.

3- Bake the eggs with the sugar and add the flour. Add melted chocolate and mix well.

4- Spread some individual molds with a little butter and sprinkle with flour.

5- Pour the mixture in the molds by filling them up to 1/3. Place one ounce of chocolate in each mold and then cover with the rest of the mixture.

6- Place the molds in the oven for about 7-8 minutes and serve immediately.

Culinary tips:

Serve it with a ball ice cream or half-eaten cream.
